A ton of attractions are nearby and everything is in walking distance. A lot of the machines had trash around them, used napkins, drinks etc. In addition, I did not notice any special disinfection protocols in place. I love the fact it's now completely smoke free (they do have an outside patio for smokers). It's still a good place due to most of the restaurants being open. We determined that it was to fool people nearby into thinking the machines were paying big. They made sounds even if the machine awarded 3 cents. Therefore, many of the machines were extremely loud. One annoying fact that my party and I noticed was majority of the machine volume controls were broken. these machines simply were not paying out. That's great for me however, listening to the horror stories of other people around me. I did not spend much however, each time I left, I simply broke even. I went downstairs to the casino about three times (each time on different days & hours). This week I stayed at the Greektown Casino hotel. Before the pandemic, you could walk in here and leave with a comfortable amount of money. My experience at this particular casino is simply okay.

We had a pleasant experience and the customer service was top notch our entire 3 night stay. I’m still giving five stars because we didn’t do our due diligence in researching age restrictions before booking.

After speaking with housekeeping over 24 hours later, they were able to find it and he was elated.

My husband left his extremely expensive suit jacket in the closet. As a family, I won’t be returning to this particular hotel. If my husband and I were alone, we would definitely return. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone wanting a family stay as it is really only catered to 21 and over. Our daughter wasn’t even allowed to swim in the pool as there was an age restriction of 14. This limited us to only one restaurant out of the many there that our family was able to enjoy. Being from Vegas, we were not accustomed to the Michigan gaming laws which prohibit minors from even entering any part of the casino. Hotel was very clean and the staff from the front desk, valet, doormen, to the housekeeping were extremely polite.
